What is 28 Days Later About?

28 Days Later, filmed with its bleak countryside and weird deserted London streetscape is nothing short of terrifying. The story begins when a group of animal rights activists releases chimps infected with a virus called “Rage”. 28 days later, Jim (Cillian Murphy), a bike messenger wakes up in a hospital and finds the city deserted. The only source of life? The infected zombie-like Rage victims. Somehow, he manages to run into other survivors. The group includes Selena (Naomie Harris) and a cab driver, Frank (Brendan Gleeson). As they try to make their way to a supposedly safe army encampment, the real horror begins.
