Constellations

Four new casts. One Relationship. Infinite Possibilites.

Constellation Tickets Are Out Now

Constellation, the beautiful yet heartbreaking Nick Payne romance, is once again back in the West End. Following its successful premiere back in January 2012, the play went on to win millions of hearts across the country and beyond. Upon its premiere, it received strong critic reviews. The original production starring Sally Hawkins and Rafe Spall stunned the audience. It was eventually transferred to the Duke of York’s Theatre in the West End in November 2012. Eventually, it won the Evening Standard Theatre Award for the Best Play, making Payne the youngest receiver of the prestigious award. In addition, the Broadway version of the play showcased at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre was also a grand success.

The cast starred Ruth Wilson and Hollywood Heartthrob Jake Gyllenhaal. Wilson received her Tony nomination, while Gyllenhaal received his Drama League Award for the Best Actor for their respective characters. Given the popularity and brilliance of the production, it was only a matter of time to see it back on the West End stages. And as expected, it is all set to return to Vaudeville Theatre this summer with four new stunning casts. So if you missed the show in its previous run, you better hurry up and get your Constellations Tickets now. It is already out, and considering the appreciation the production received earlier, they are likely to sell out pretty soon.

A Story of Possibilities

As much as it revolves around complex scientific concepts, Nick Payne’s story is one of possibilities. It is a story of hope and chances, of dreams and desires. But above all, it is a story of unadulterated romance and soul-stirring emotions. The story begins with two people; one is a quantum physicist and another a beekeeper. After they meet at a party, Marianne, the sharp scientist, explains to Roland, the beekeeper, how they live in a multiverse and how there could be so many versions of themselves, living completely different lives from the one they have are experiencing now.

From there onwards, they take on a journey together to find out the endless opportunities in the multiverse, with many possibilities ahead of them. Maybe they just flirt, and nothing comes out of it, maybe they fall in love, maybe they grow apart and separate their ways, maybe they lose and find each other again at some crossroad of life—the possibilities in the multiverse are infinite. To know how their story end, you will have to get the Constellations Tickets and join their journey.

The Star-studded Cast

The award-winning director Michael Longhurst returns to the West End with the fresh new version of Constellations after directing Gyllenhaal and Wilson in its Broadway run. The new production will reportedly feature four different casts, with each of them refracting the play afresh. Reportedly, the show stars Olivier Award-winner Sheila Atim MBE and Ivano Jeremiah in the first leg, then Zoë Wanamaker and Peter Capaldi in the second leg, Omari Douglas and Russell Tovey in the third, followed by Anna Maxwell Martin and Chris O’Dowd in the fourth and final one. So, choose which fabulous duo you would like to see performing and order your Constellations Tickets accordingly.
