Art presented like never before with DaVinci and Michelangelo: The Titans Experience

An off-Broadway show, DaVinci and Michelangelo: The Titans Experience is unlike any you have come across. It is just as compelling as it is unique. The high-speed multimedia performance will put you inside the days of splendour during the Italian Renaissance as you are guided by DaVinci and Michelangelo.

The Titans Experience contains awe-inspiring elements like images, movies, videos and 3D animation of the two artists’ many paintings, sketches, sculptures, codices and machines, making it a befitting tribute to the grandmasters.

The creator of the show, Mark Rodgers, took a step to compliment the legendary works of Michelangelo and DaVinci with the art of today’s icons such as Les Paul, Van Cliburn, McCartney and others. This event/exhibition offers a look into the works of two of the most famous artists in the world which might encourage you enough to dive into yourself and discover your inner artist.

More than just an exhibition

Originally intended as an exhibition which would highlight the thoughts and artworks of the legends, DaVinci and Michelangelo: The Titans Experience kept developing over time and became more than a simple exhibition. It is now a reflective observation of the minds of DaVinci and Michelangelo as well as what they created. Mark Rodgers is not only the producer but will be seen starring in the show. Bill Stine has collaborated with Rodgers in many events and is the director of The Titans Experience. He is known for having directed many shows in Chicago, St Louis, and New York. Immerse yourself in Mark and John Rodgers’ writing and Shari Debandt’s lighting and production design.

Explore their creations

DaVinci and Michelangelo: The Titans Experience is different from your everyday theatre show. In fact, it is nowhere near a scripted act and its main aim is to display the evergreen geniuses and assess their work from a modern perspective.

Leonardo da Vinci was famous for his dexterity over not only art but also astronomy, mathematics and engineering, for which he has been named a Universal Genius. The painting of Mona Lisa and The Last Supper are two of the greatest pieces of art to have ever existed. Michelangelo was an Italian poet, artist and sculptor who inspired several art movements of the Renaissance. The Last Judgement and Sistine Chapel are among his most renowned artworks. Their creativity, approach and thoughtfulness are brought into light in this show.

Do not be mistaken as the show is a deep exploration of DaVinci and Michelangelo’s biggest creations and not their lives. A few of their countless legendary works which you will see are Mona Lisa, Sistine Chapel, and the Statue of David. It has been almost 500 years since their time that they are making their debut in New York. According to Rodgers, the traces of what the two artists have said and done linger in our lives even today. DaVinci and Michelangelo: The Titans Experience comes to you as a valuable lesson you will have a hard time forgetting.
