A lighthearted tale of a snail

The play deals with a tiny snail who dreams of travelling the world and sets out to do so. It hitches a ride across the ocean on a humpback whale’s tail. The enthralling tale showcases the friendship and journey of the whale and the snail. At one point, the whale gets beached and it is up to the snail to rescue his companion. Will the little snail be able to save the humpback whale from the beach?

Tall Stories, the Olivier Award-nominated company that produced the critically acclaimed Room on the Broom and The Gruffalo, is behind this production. Therefore, it is hardly surprising that the new children’s play is winning the hearts of critics and audience members alike.

All you need to know about the venue

The 55-minute long interval-free production is coming to the Apollo Theatres this November. You can catch a show at the venue till January 05, 2020. So, hurry and book your tickets today. Make sure you reach before time, as the theatre opens around 45 minutes prior to the start of the show.

The play is suitable for children above 4 years of age. However, younger kids are allowed as per the discretion of parents. Toddlers up to 18 months can enter the venue without tickets. You must verify the age of the kid with Theatre staff upon arrival.

Online ticket booking is the fastest and most convenient process to attend the show. After the booking is complete, open your mail and check for a voucher. Download and save the same on your phone. Alternatively, you can take a print out and keep it with you. Carry this on the day of attendance for hassle-free entrance into the theatre. Moreover, carry a valid photo identification to display when asked at the gate.

Outside food is strictly prohibited inside the venue. Keep in mind that cancellation or amendment of booked tickets is impossible. Ticket holders who fail to enter the booked show cannot claim a refund.

    A relaxed 11:00 AM performance for schools is available on 4th December, and a relaxed performance for the public is scheduled on the 15th December. A BSL performance will run for schools at 11:00 AM on 11th December.
