St Paul’s Cathedral

An Anglican cathedral, St Paul’s Cathedral is situated on the city’s highest point, Ludgate Hill, and is a Grade I listed building. Sir Christopher Wren’s English Baroque style, with which he created the structure in the late 17th century, makes this monument a grand sight to behold. Wren completed the construction during his lifetime. He remains a significant part of the building’s rebuilding after the Great Fire of London devastated the Cathedral badly.

For more than 300 years, the building’s dome has dominated the London skyline. From 1710 to 1967, St Paul’s Cathedral was London’s tallest building, and even today, the dome remains one of the highest in the whole world. The Cathedral is also the United Kingdom’s second-largest church building. Take in the magnificence of this monument with The Spirit of London Tour.

Note: Guiding inside the church isn’t available on Sundays
