An arrangement of great songs

The musical comprises an excellent list of songs such as “Grow Old With You” which has music and lyrics by Tim Herlihy and Adam Sandler himself, along with other tracks like “Move That Thang”, “It’s Your Wedding Day”, “All About the Green”, and “Today You Are A Man”.

This production features Matthew Skylar’s music and Chad Beguelin’s lyrics. These songs make the musical wonderful and a show that stands up to the name of the original movie. If you loved the film, it is time to relive your memories.

The Wedding Singer musical will take you to the era of nostalgia

The year is 1985, and wannabe rockstar Robbie Hart is living in his grandmother’s basement. He is the heart of the party and the most-desired wedding singer in New Jersey. But, this only lasts until Linda, his fiance, abandons him at the altar. With a shattered heart, a devastated Robbie turns every wedding into a disaster-piece like his own.

He happens to meet an admiring young waitress named Julia and falls in deep love with her. As is his luck, a Wall Street shark is set to marry her. Unless Robbie manages to put on a terrific performance, he will lose his love forever.

The Wedding Singer musical, with its list of pop songs, will submerge you in the ambience of the 80s when style was different and a wedding singer was literally a celebrity.

Clifton, as Robbie, does a fantastic job at portraying this role in the best possible way. He is a BBC TV show “Strictly Come Dancing” pro who also worked in “Rock of Ages” and “Dirty Dancing”. He also made appearances on “So You Think You Can Dance” in the Netherlands and “Dancing with the Stars” in the US. His career also involves plenty of theatre work, making him the right choice for The Wedding Singer musical, and he does not, in any manner, fail to deliver the promised.
