Beetlejuice
When you are yearning for a hilarious theatre experience, Beetlejuice is the perfect musical for you. Currently enjoying a year-long run at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York, Beetlejuice musical has been adapted from the classic Tim Burton film by the same name. The production is sure to tickle your funny bone, leaving you with a smile long after you walk out from the venue. Ensure you book your tickets before June 6, 2020, after which the musical transfers.
Comedy is the star of the show
Directed by Alex Timbers, the same guy behind the epic Moulin Rouge production, Beetlejuice dives into the story of Lydia Deetz. She is a peculiar girl suffering from an unhealthy obsession with ghosts and death. Incidentally, Deetz comes to occupy a haunted house that boasts the spirit of a recently deceased couple and a demon as well.
Deetz comes to know of the ghosts and plans to use them to scare away her parents from the house. Beetlejuice, the ghost, thinks of an elaborate scheme to make this possible. Enjoy a wild ride that involves an exorcism, an arranged marriage, a horrific sandstorm and much more. The ghosts’ antics in Beetlejuice musical will leave you bawling with laughter.
However, the production also does a wonderful job of scaring you, lending a spooky feel to the soundtrack and the set design.
Why you need to watch Beetlejuice
