What Is Blade Runner About?

Enjoy a drive-in cinema experience of the 1982 neo-noir sci-fi flick, Blade Runner! The film stars Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard, a ‘Blade Runner’ who traverses the city’s mean streets on a dangerous assignment. A group of “replicants,” genetically-manufactured beings who seem amazingly human, have escaped from “off-world,” and have travelled to Earth. Deckard’s job is to track them down and eliminate them. However, Deckard’s situation becomes complicated when he falls in love with one of the replicants. Find out what happens next and question what it means to be human, and why life is so precious.
