A contestant in BBC Three’s RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, drag star Baga Chipz makes an appearance in the new Cinderella drag panto! Performing with her is Sheila Simmonds, who is well-known from the flamboyant act that blew away the judges in this year’s Britain’s Got Talent. Both performers appear in this hilarious and fierce drag makeover of the classic fairy tale, Cinderella, this Christmas season. Performing alongside them are Ophelia Love, Kemah Bob, Holly Stars, Baby and Veronica Green. Stuart Saint has written and will also direct this drag production. He was the director of “Misfit Warrior”, “Saucy Jack at the Space Vixens”, and “De Profundis”. Get your Cinderella drag panto tickets to catch this limited run at the Trafalgar Studios. This fantastic show is produced by the country’s only production company dedicated to everything drag – TuckShop. It is a unique company, which specialises in not only theatre production but also merchandising and club promotion. The company also represents some of the UK’s most exceptional drag talents.

During the past decade, drag has experienced a massive rise in mainstream popularity, and TuckShop is at the vanguard of this emerging popularity. Steering the wheel for this production is West End theatre producer, Christopher D. Clegg. He has 15 years’ experience as a producer in the West End, while also acting as the marketing expert and theatre manager. Together, they are ready to put on a jaw-dropping show, the likes of which might change your thoughts about Cinderella! The Cinderella story

Cinderella is the embodiment of diligence and modesty. She is a girl who has learned to be kind even after the death of her mother and faces harsh treatment from her new mother and sisters without complaints. Whether it is a meal that needs cooking or the rooms that need cleaning, Cinderella’s stepmother makes her handle all the household chores alone. One day, after the evil stepmother and ugly stepsisters go to a ball organised by the King, Cinderella finds herself drowning in self-pity. Seeing her in this state, a fairy godmother materialises. She gives Cinderella a chance to attend the event. Her rags and shabby attire change, transforming her into an absolute beauty as she prepares to head to the ball.
