Starring as Tina Turner is Nkeki Obi-Melekwe, and playing the role of her husband Ike is Ashley Zhanghaza. Phyllida Lloyd, who also directed Mamma Mia’s world premiere, is directing the show. Katoria Hall worked with Kess Prins and Frank Ketelaar to write the show. Others who help bring the musical to life include costume designer Mark Thompson, choreographer Anthony van Laast, lighting designer Bruno Poet, musical supervisor Nicholas Skilbeck, and sound designer Nevin Steinberg.
